Crop and Sniper First Aid Course
We have looked closely into these roles and as a lot of our experience comes from working within the Outdoor and Special Forces environments and having spent prolonged periods in all elements have designed this course accordingly.
Concentration plays a large part in both these roles. Usually these teams are the eyes and ears of a larger team. A small lapse in concentration can destroy hours of hard work. Heat, Cold, Tiredness and Inappropriate Diet can all take their toll.
To this end we spend considerable time on talking about low blood sugar, it is not just diabetics that can suffer from hypoglycaemia, we have all been there at some time or another. ( when did you last get called out on a job before you had, had a decent meal ) Hypothermia also effects sugar levels and has a dramatic effect on Officer Skill Depletion.
This course would equate to N.P.I.A. MODULE 3 (FASC) and would be delivered over two or three days days.
The course syllabus contains:
• Climatic conditions both hot and cold and its effects on the body, the extremes of temperatures in this country are at an all time high.
• Diabetes and Hypoglycaemia
• Poisons and chemical injuries from pesticides, tics and fertilizers
• Fractures
• Head injuries
• Bleeds
• Unconscious casualties
• Spinal injuries
• Extracation
COSTS:
£500 (ex vat) per person (Open Course - Held at our training centres or the customers training premises)
